The Executive management team of five, led by Kevin Rodgers our Chief Executive, is responsible for providing strategic leadership to the Group. Overall responsibility for managing the Group rests with the Group Board. This comprises 12 members and includes the Chairs of each of the individual member association boards as well as independent members who sit on the board because of their particular specialist skills that help us to manage our business to the highest standards.
Colin has enjoyed a distinguished career in the financial and aviation sectors as well as a wealth of experience in non-executive roles in regulated sectors including the NHS, social housing and adult care and social services.
Janice joined the Whitefriars Board in March 2017 as the Independent Chair. She has held senior management roles in both the voluntary sector and local government. She has also worked at Board/Director level to influence the shaping of policy and strategy.
James is an independent Member and has been a Member of the Board since 2009. He has 20 years of business experience in the events and exhibition sector.
Richard became a Group Board Member in September 2014, having previously been a Member of the former Kemble Board. His business experience has been built up over a number of years within the private sector.
John joined the Homes Board in February 2015, and appointed to Chair of that Board in May. He has spent many years working in Local Government, Housing and Regeneration, but is now a Director of his own businesses.
Crispin, an independent member, is Strategy Director at the Legal Services Board. Before that, he was Executive Director of Policy at the Legal Services Commission.

Kevin was appointed Group Chief Executive at WM Housing Group in May 2015 and was appointed as a Board Member in July 2016. Prior to that he was the Group’s Deputy Chief Executive and Group Finance Director leading on the Group’s £200m public bond issue in 2012. Kevin joined the Group in 2002.

Richard joined the Family Optima Board in July 2015. He is a chartered accountant with experience of auditing and financial reporting in the housing sector, particularly in respect of development programmes and treasury activities. He is currently a Finance Manager at Walsall Housing Group.
Kalwinder started her professional life as a software engineer working for Marconi, becoming a senior manager responsible for developing coretele communications software. She subsequently worked for the NHS and Department for Education setting up and implementing national programmes.
has been a tenant at Newhall Hill development in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter since 1998.In 2000 she joined the West Midlands office of the Engineering Employers Federation as Secretary/PA to the Director of Training and Education Liaison.

John Creswell (Chair)
Chair of the West Mercia Homes Board and Co Founder of the Interactive Tool kits consultancy. John has over 30 years experience of senior management roles in Local Government,Housing Associations, and Regeneration Trusts.
George W Davidge
George became a West Mercia Homes customer in 1997. He is a very active member of West Mercia Homes Customer Panels and recently was vice-chairman of the Group’s Joint Customer Panel. He is also a trustee of the Worcester Community Trust.
Peter had a career in the food industry, was a youth worker and a member of West Mercia Police Authority until its dissolution in 2012. He became a Member of the then Kemble Board in June 2012.
Helen Scarrett is the CEO of a charity which runs community centres and community projects in Worcester. She is well connected to the voluntary and community sector networks in Worcestershire.
Catherine’s career has encompassed housing management and policy roles at local and regional level. She joined the then Kemble Board in July 2012.
Gideon joined the Board in December 2015. With a continuing career in senior management roles in higher education and his own management consultancy service, he is also a Trustee of the Academy of Youth.
Sangitais a Finance Director at a facilities management company called ‘Place Partnership’, a limited company jointly owned by a number of local authorities, police and fire and rescue authorities.
Andrew is a Chartered Surveyor experienced in residential and commercial surveying. He also belongs to the Institute of Revenues, Rating & Valuation and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, has worked for large and small companies and run his own surveying firm.
Phil joined the Board in December 2015. Phil has worked in the housing association field for the whole of his career, most recently as Managing Director for Marches Housing Association in Leominster.
Lisa is a CIH qualified housing professional with over 20 years’ experience in social housing with significant experience and demonstrable success in leading change with strength in service improvement, identifying and building on opportunities to enhance services,business and reputation.
