Scrutiny panel – The latest area our panel of customers have taken a close look at is our repairs service. All their report are discussed with managers and then go to our Board of Management.
Family and Optima have 3 customers panels:
People panel – focuses on services which support customers sustain their tenancies and any service that has a direct impact on the welfare of the individual.
Property panel – look at any issues concerning the management of properties.
Places panel – look at services which impact the management of neighbourhoods, estates and the environment where customers live.
Contract monitors – keep an eye on our cleaners and grounds people to let us know how our contractors are performing and help us review services. If you want to join a dedicated group of residents and help ensure that the area you live in is always kept to the best standard please contact us.
Treasure chest fund – is available for residents and local organisations to help with projects that will benefit our residents and the local community. Residents can apply for up to £1000 and local organisations can apply for up to £2000.
Social isolation – supporting our older residents – With support from the Group’s innovation fund, we are working with Age Concern to explore social isolation amongst our older residents and the impact this may have on our service delivery and tenancy sustainability. A member of Age Concern will be starting these conversations on our behalf and will be engaging residents into their services too (where required).
