Nexus Housing delivered an Easter treat to the residents of Borrowdale Drive in Worcester when they organised a fun day with the Easter Bunny as its special guest.

The Bunny, played by Nexus Housing Officer, Lisa Cross, handed out Easter eggs to the delight of local children who were also entertained by bouncy castles, balloons and a face painter.

10-year-old Shanade Hilll, said: “It was great, I had lots of fun with my friends and we would love them to do another fun day.”

Pizza Hut and Dominos generously provided free pizzas to feed the hungry crowd.

Housing Officer Lisa Cross, said: “The event itself was founded on the previous comments and suggestions of the local children.  It was really fantastic to see the community come together in support of the event and our thanks go to all those who joined us.”

Nexus customer, Sam Slemp who attended the event said, “I thought it was brilliant that Nexus did something like this for the children in the area. We all went along and had a great time.”
