A youth debate is being held specifically for 16-25 year olds in Hereford on Thursday 25 May to help young people have their say and decide on who they would like to vote for in June’s general election.
This topical event is being attended by local candidates who will speak about their respective political plans for the future and answer direct questions on topics raised by young people. There will also be a 20-minute question time open to the audience giving attendees the opportunity to discuss issues which matter to them.
Candidates due to attend are Jesse Norman, Conservative, Lucy Hurd, Liberal Democrats, Diana Toynbee, Green Party, Anna Coda, Labour and Jim Kenyon, Independent.
The debate is being organised by the Supported Housing for Young People Project (SHYPP) to give young people a voice in the election and speak out about the decisions being made.
If you want to join us and hear what our local candidates have to say, our youth debate is on Thursday 25 May from 6pm to 8pm at Left Bank, Bridge Street, Hereford.
If you would like to submit a question to our local candidates to discuss at the debate, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to seeing you.
