Members of the West Midlands Housing Association Partnership (WMHAP) are coming together to help raise money for the victims of the Grenfell Tower fire.
On Friday 14 July, exactly a month since the tragedy, members of staff from 26 organisations have been asked to wear red and donate money to the British Red Cross London Fire Relief Fund.
Kevin Rodgers, Chair of WMHAP and Chief Executive at WM Housing Group, who organised the fundraising event, said: “We wanted to show our support to those who have been left bereaved, injured or made homeless by the fire and our staff were desperate to help in any way they could. Across the 26 members of the West Midlands Housing Association Partnership there will be fundraising initiatives on the day. Our staff will wear red and buy heart badges to show their support.”
