WM Housing has been shortlisted for two prestigious national awards.

We have made the final of the 24housing Awards in the Best Apprenticeship Scheme and Best Training Scheme categories.

The 24housing Awards are run by the national trade magazine 24housing and recognise excellence across the board in the sector.

We beat competition from landlords across the UK to make the shortlist in both categories.

Our place in the final of the Best Training Scheme category recognises the HomeWorks Multi-skill Programme we delivered in partnership with Warwickshire College which saw more than 60 staff benefit from training to help them gain vital new skills.

Meanwhile we made the final in the Best Apprenticeship Scheme category for the Supported Internship scheme we ran in partnership with Hereward College which helped young disabled people gain employment.

Matt Posaner, our Director of People, said: “We are delighted to be shortlisted in two categories of these prestigious national housing awards.

“This recognises the hard work of a lot of people in the organisation and out in our communities who took part in the schemes.

“Our work to help people in our organisation and our communities to gain skills is something we are extremely proud of and it is great for everyone involved to get this recognition.”

The final of the 24housing Awards will take place on October 18th at the Ricoh Arena.
